In my Interactive Fiction assignment for the game quest design i based my quest off of the board game Heroquest form which i made my own homemade version for testing and with this i decided on how i was going to make my quest in tandem with my other group members. It starts at the beginning of our story where our adventures come across an abandoned college where the last known place of a wanted criminal was seen to confirm if this was true or not and with this they find him and all the others of the college have been transformed into giant golems. Our heroes must fight through to escape. The group seemed to like the college idea i had over another which was a maze for the beginning where the board was a maze to be explored, but this caused confusion and lack of miniature pieces and a cluttered board made me change the idea for the better. I also added a mechanic that made the experience more immersive for everyone where places on the map would trigger different dialogue from the DM( Dungeon Master ). In the end i would change the amount of enemies on the map as it felt very dragged out by fighting at times which can make the experience a lot less fun for everyone involved in the game. I would also have more loot for the players to find and some lore to go along with them for a bit more of stuff to come across and a rewarding feeling for those who might want to adventure while playing this quest.

For the others their quest including mine contained the overall journey to kill the boss Yggdrasil in the final quest and all our quests lead up to it. We have a Mechanic where if the players do not find all of the artifacts or get them stolen the Final boss gets harder to beat in the end, this also includes if they do not kill the bosses in any quest but mine and the last one by Madzia.
After mine there is some interesting ways to play as the players have more outcomes throughout the quest where in Dorians quest there is an option to kill the boss and receive gold or don't and the boss will go on to join the final quest, Jessica's next is interesting in it is like a rest point of sorts to get gold from a side area called the forest and you can buy items to power up and even return to completed quests where you complete more side tasks there. Next quest by Rokas also has something new as it has two bosses and a dragon slaying weapon in it. Finally i believe a good wrap up and the most interesting quest is by Madzia where you fight the dragon and this battle will be different depending on how you played the others and where respawning is no longer allowed a true fight to finish the beast. In the end i would make my own quest more interesting and not have the final quest take glory over everything as to add it so other quest begin to change when choices are made as well to round up the experience.

Shadow of Yggdrasil is like the style of Skyrim in terms of Narrative.
It is a 2.5D game with adventure and battle mechanics along with some RP(Role-play).
